The National Metal Training Group Ltd was originally formed to assist with the provision of cost effective training for hard and soft metals throughout the Country.
The Group was formed by four roofing companies in 2005 along with representation from Technical Consultants and Manufacturers who specialise in the installation of Long Strip Metal Roofing and Cladding and Leadwork. The founding committee are all members of the Metal Roofing Contractors Association.
The Group is building links with colleges and training providers to introduce and manage a comprehensive service to the building industry in partnership with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), Learning and Skills Council (LSC) and the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS).
The founder members of the Group are all currently involved in commercial contracting and have an in depth understanding of the industries training requirement
