Our ambition is to improve the lowest level of skills in our industry to the highest standards possible using our flexible tutored training techniques so that the workforce can provide a better service for your clients & customers, and reduce the risk of accidents and increase the skills of the workforce thus improving the standard of work.
Applying for membership entitles you to all benefits the Group can offer; many Group members have benefits from reduced training costs. The Group holds regular meetings and is a non-profit making organistation. The Group informs members of new legislation, and advice is only a phone call away. The Groups Representative is Graham Cashin, who is also the Chairman of the National Metal Training committee.

To train and qualify the existing workforce for Health and Safety, NVQ Hard and Soft Metal roofing, industry upskilling.

To develop and launch a website for training.

Attend NMTG meeting (Two per Year).

Develop on and offsite training to sort the needs of small companies.

Review Training provision in sector.

Promote and encourage clients to use trained operatives from the Group.

Support CITB construction skills.

Use mobile rigs.

Interact with regional groups to support training activities.

Liaise with NSTA.

Encourage CITB Construction Skills to Support the need of the Group and assist with PR.
